Miss South Africa 2023 – Natasha Joubert – recently touched down on the tropical island of Mauritius for her first official Miss SA shoot, and she’s glowing!
On Monday, Miss South Africa took to Instagram, sharing a clip of Joubert huddled up with two spellbound pilots in the cockpit of her FlySAA flight to the destination island. Natasha playfully announces their touchdown in Mauritius and anticipates her official Miss South Africa shoot.
“This is Springbuck 190, we have arrived in Mauritius, now it’s time for my Miss South Africa official shoot!”

After a first-class four hour flight to the island, Joubert spent the night at Sugar Beach Mauritius, where she served all the island girl vibes. We’re not jealous, you are!

After a night of wining, dining and prepping for the shoot day ahead, the Miss SA pageant posted a video of Joubert soaking up the perfect island weather, teasing her first look under a fluffy white dressing robe.
“Yesterday when we arrived, it was pouring with rain! This morning, we woke up and it’s blue skies with no wind and we’re ready for day 1 of shooting my official shoot…got the first look on, let’s do this!” shares Joubert.
