Harry and Megan’s highly anticipated documentary trailer has finally been released.
This brand-new, six-part documentary series offers an open window into Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s high profile relationship.
At its foundation, their relationship resembles many others: They met, had a brief courtship, fell in love, got married, had kids, and established a life based on common values and reciprocal support of each other’s goals and endeavors.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not your typical pair. Even the most devoted admirers and followers of their story have never previously heard one of the most famous love stories in history presented in this way.
Harry and Meghan is a historic six-part documentary series that examines the couple’s relationship across time, from their courtship’s early stages to the difficulties and scandals that forced them to leave the royal family. The documentary series features interviews with members of the couple’s family and close friends who have never discussed their relationship in public, as well as historians and journalists who analyse how the media impacted Harry and Meghan’s interactions with the royal family and the Commonwealth at large.
Page Six confirmed the release date: December 8, 2022 for volume I and December 15 for volume II. On December 1, Netflix released a trailer (above) for the program titled simply Harry & Meghan.
“When the stakes were this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?” Meghan is seen asking in the clip.
“No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors. I had to do everything I could to protect my family,” proclaims harry in the clip.
Harry and Meghan have come under fire for releasing the Netflix documentary’s trailer when Prince William and Kate Middleton were in the United States. Journalists and royal experts feel that Meghan and Harry’s choice was an effort to detract attention from the Prince and Princess of Wales. The documentary is likely to be met with much criticism and ridicule, especially from the British media.
