Netflix just released the official trailer for season 6 of the award-winning dystopian sci-fi series, Black Mirror. Fans and critics alike have long waited for the sixth season, and now it’s finally here.
The series is set to release later this month 15 June, four years after the previous season.
Black Mirror is a British anthology series which first aired on Channel 4 in 2011. The series is based on The Twilight Zone and uses technology to comment on contemporary social issues. The show was created by Charlie Brooker, an English television presenter, writer, producer and satirist. He has written for comedy series such as Brass Eye, The 11 O’Clock Show and Nathan Barley. Each episode is a standalone episode, meaning that the episodes can be watched in either order without it affecting the plot.
The trailer releases quite a bit of information about the sixth season of the show. It reveals to us some slight hints about some of the episode’s plots while also showcasing some of the actors who will be featured in the upcoming season.
The list of actors who be starring in the sixth season includes Aaron Paul, Anjana Vasan, Annie Murphy, Auden Thornton, Ben Barnes, Clara Rugaard, Daniel Portman, Danny Ramirez, David Shields, Himesh Patel, John Hannah, Josh Hartnett, Kate Mara, Michael Cera, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold, Paapa Essiedu, Rob Delaney, Rory Culkin, Salma Hayek Pinault, Samuel Blenkin and Zazie Beetz.
With a star-studded cast and a promise to bring us some of the scariest, mind-bending episodes of the series, we can’t wait to see what the season has to offer!
