It’s happening, everyone! Netflix released the official teaser trailer for the second season of the hit unscripted reality series, Young, Famous & African. This time, new faces are revealed, including South Africa’s very own, Bonang Matheba.
Season 2 sees the return of Africa’s most famous and fabulous – socialites Khanyi Mbau and Kayleigh Schwark, award-winning TV host Andile Ncube, rapper Nadia Nakai, Naked DJ, Nigerian model Annie Macaulay-Idibia, Nigerian singer 2Baba, Nigerian celebrity fashion stylist Swanky Jerry, Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz and Ugandan socialite Zari the Boss Lady.
This season, the cast faces a lot of unanswered questions regarding what happened between Diamond Platnumz, Andile and Zari after the chance encounter between the trio at Diamond’s house.
The season also looks at everyone’s friendship status after arguments, drama and pot-stirring by Khanyi and Nadia.
Besides industry darling and businesswoman Bonang, other newcomers to the all-star cast include Ghanaian-American rapper and all-round superstar Fantana, and Luis Munana from Namibia, the former Big Brother Africa contestant and entrepreneur extraordinaire.
Fans of the show can also watch out for model and socialite Sebabatso Mothibi, as well as supermodel and actress, Rosette Ncwana. Both ladies are said to have had a relationship history with cast member, Andile. The drama and tension from the previous season will surely play into the existing dynamic of the show.
