Social media users were flabbergasted at the strong resemblance between the late Kwaito legend Mandoza and his son Tokollo Tshabalala after seeing a video of Tokollo attending the premiere of Nkalakatha: The Life of Mandoza.
Mduduzi ‘Mandoza’ Tshabalala, who died in 2016 from a brain tumour, was married to Mpho Tshabalala, with who he shared Tokollo. The six-part biopic, which aims to showcase Mandoza’s life as well as his role in the entertainment industry, stars Wiseman Mncube as the music legend and Lorraine Moropa as Mpho.
According to The South African, Tokollo was named after Mandoza’s close friend, late TKZee group member Tokollo ‘Magesh’ Tshabalala, who passed away on 15 August 2022.
Controversial entertainment blogger Musa Khawula shared a video of Tokollo on X (formerly Twitter) at the premiere.

Social media users flooded the comments section, with many saying the role should have been given to Tokollo instead of Wiseman.
