by Bongiwe Mati

Singer and reality TV star Kelly Khumalo did not take loosing kindly the past weekend when she did not scoop a single award out of the two awards she was nominated for at this year’s SAMA’s the past weekend.

The SAMA’s took place at Sunbet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on Saturday 18th November where artist’s such as Kabza de Smallz, K.O, Morda and Ntokozo Mbambo scored big.

Kelly was nominated with Ntokozo in the Best Female Artist of the Year category, where the gospel singer came out victorious, in turn scooping a total of three awards for the night.

The Life With Kelly reality TV star got unsettled  taking to her social media to share her disappointment, adding that, her album figures could not be compared to Ntokozo’s.

In post currently delete, Kelly responded to internet trolls who called her off, adding that she was not scared of any of them, including Ntokozo.

Kelly continued to entertain the trolls, even swearing at them and spitting out homophobic remarks.

In a post dated 19 November at 08h45,  the day after her X rants, Kelly confirmed that she still stuck by her words, adding:

“I said what I said and take nothing back !”

Netizens reacted to Kelly’s rants, commenting:

We don’t need your apology. You’ve allegedly done far worse and never apologised.

More continued sharing they could not be bothered by a post as she has done worst things.

Apologize for posting? You’ve done worse. We don’t hold you that high sisi. pic.twitter.com/CtY6nCkqN3

Such pride can be your greatest downfall as an artist. Pride will make you fall and people will forget you even existed. Ntokozo has pipes for days. She’s an icon and her voice speaks for her, she doesn’t have to prove anything with a tweet. Be motivated, not intimidated 💀💀💀

Others were worried about her, asking her to heal:

😭😭😭😭😭😭 Whatever you going through sis phephisa masinyane🙏
