Former Ukhozi FM radio presenter Ngizwe Mchunu trended on social media platforms when a video of his vandalized media briefing circulated showing interruption and vandalism of equipment and furniture by three young men.
Clearly intending to disrupt the media briefing, the three guys entered the room and went straight to Ngizwe who was seated in the front facing a crowd of people. The guys then started throwing things that were placed at the table on the floor, turning the table upside down.
Ngizwe, the self-proclaimed president of Amabhinca (a Zulu person who wholistically practices things associated with his culture, from the clothes he wears, the music he listens to, the food he eats and customary practices), claimed that it was KZN EFF members who did that to him as he does not see eye to eye with EFF Chief in Command, Julius Malema.

Internet users were not having it, as many shared comments stating that the vandalism was all staged and that the video was acting gone wrong.

Another video showing the former Ukhozi presenter at the South African Police Service offices, filing a charge later surfaced. In the video, Ngizwe tells the police that the majority of the people he saw were wearing EFF gear.
