Reality star and model Nkateko Mahange has recently revealed gruesome details of events that led to his separation from his partner and the mother of his baby, Khanya Nqolase.
The Ultimatum star shared a three-pager statement where he revealed the nitty-gritty details of the physical assault incidents he endured during their relationship.
According to Nkateko, even though he had separated from Khanya he chose to stick around to ensure that his child, Qhawe David Mahange was safe during pregnancy and after delivery; after he witnessed Khanya taking dangerous substances while she was still pregnant.
In the statement, he shared that from then, he suffered repeated episodes of physical and emotional ill-treatment including incidents that endangered their child’s safety.
Nkateko described his relationship with his ex as abusive, he revealed in a statement that Khanya physically attacked him on various occasions where she punched, scratched and even used objects to harm him.
“One of the most dangerous incidents occurred while she was pregnant, where her aggression turned physical and escalated to the point where I was very concerned for both her and the baby’s safety.”
He recalled in a statement that the situation did not change even after Qhawe was born.
“The most harrowing incident came when Khanya stabbed me during an argument while I had him in my arms. The attack left me physically wounded but my primary concern was for Qhawe, who was in the house at the time. This act of violence was a stark reminder that her behaviour was spiralling out of control, and it was no longer safe for my son to remain in such an environment,” he penned.
Taking to his Instagram page, Nkateko shared the statement with a caption that read: “In honour of your first birthday Qhawe David Mahange, I will share our truth.”
