Media personality Anele Mdoda is one of the celebrities who have garnered a great reputation as a fan favourite for her constant willingness to lend a helping hand where she can. The radio presenter has intervened in an alleged racial matter that occurred at her alma mater Sutherland High School.
Those who have followed Anele Mdoda throughout the course of her career, particularly the latter part, where she has gained more influence and experience in the industry, have witnessed how she has become a reliable problem-solver for mzansi citizens.
X (formerly Twitter) user Chantal Damon took to social media to reveal that a Sutherland High School parent had expressed frustration with the school because her daughter was experiencing bullying from a fellow learner. The learner’s mother, Thembi Motana has expressed further frustration with the school and how they have handled the situation thus far, insinuating that they have failed to protect her daughter.
In a follow-up post, Thembi revealed that the alleged perpetrator’s mother called her cellphone at 22h30 at night to confront her about putting her son on blast. She then questions how the parent got ahold of her cellphone number, causing those who have been following the case to draw their own conclusions.
She then revealed that after being subjected to a slew of threats and harassment from the learner’s mother, the matter has now been escalated and will be dealt with legally. This therefore means that Thembi can no longer provide people with updates until the matter has been wrapped up.

Sweeping in to save the day, as per her usual antics, Anele Mdoda revealed that as her former high school, she could not idly sit by and watch such an egregious situation remain uncalled out. She then went on to reveal that she had reached out to the school’s principal.
I’ve just messaged the headmaster

This selfless act by Anele and Somizi’s willingness to help Thembi have toggled at the heartstrings of many as they applaud these notable figures for coming through for a helpless parent.
Anele then went on to provide an update about the matter, revealing that both Thembi and the alleged perpetrator’s mother were to meet with the school this morning. She then reveals that the other parent has started to provide some questionable stories, such as claiming that her phone can no longer receive calls.
Regarding the bullying saga at Sutherland High School.
Khanyi’s mom is meeting with the school at 9am. There seem to be some dodgy playing, example, her phone all of a sudden can’t receive calls. It may be a pure coincidence but ke if you are going call another parent at 11pm to…— Anele Mdoda (@Anele) February 6, 2025
