TV presenter, actress, and singer Ntombee Ngcobo-Mzolo is set to take the reins as the host of the highly anticipated reunion for The Mommy Club Season 2, premiering exclusively on Showmax on 10 June.
Building on the success of its first season, The Mommy Club has become the most loved show breaking records for reality series viewership on Showmax and saw the entire cast trend at the same time on Twitter (X) when a new episode dropped.
According to the Showmax press release, The Season 2 finale left audiences on the edge of their seats, it was packed with drama, featuring a spiritual medium, champagne-throwing, and confrontations where unresolved issues came to light.
This sets the stage for an explosive reunion, as tensions within the group are evident. The cast is divided, with Hermajesty and Mrs Mops on one side, and Nunurai, Ratile Mabitsela, and newcomer Mrs Sande on the other.
Mrs Sande’s recent social media appearance with Hermajesty sparks speculation: has she switched camps?
With the reunion promising to delve deeper into the conflicts and alliances that have emerged among the cast, Ntombee steps into her role with a blend of personal experience and professional expertise.
“As a fan of The Mommy Club, I am excited that I will host the reunion,” says Ntombee.
“I relate to the ladies on so many levels and I know how fulfilling and challenging motherhood can be. My experience as a mother and a wife will come through at the reunion. As women, we wear so many hats and we juggle a lot, so I understand what the ladies are going through.”
