SABC1’s Skeem Saam has grown massively since its inception, managing to sign some of the best acting talent in mzansi over the years.
This local drama series which is centered around Turfloop (Mankweng), a township in the Capricorn District Municipality in Limpopo province aired its first episode on the 13th of October 2011.
Now in its 13th year, the local drama series has made many changes to its story line and added more talent to its cast. They have also recently announced that a different airing time from the 4th of March, moving from 18h30 to 19h30.
Actor, singer and dancer Nyaniso Dzedze is the latest talent to join this fast-growing local series. The multi-talented entertainer has been on our TV screens for many years playing roles such as the narcissist Tsietsi on e.TV’s Ashes to Ashes, the character Gift Twala on Rhythm City, featuring in Beyonce’s Black is King visual album and many local and international productions.
Nyaniso will play the character of Nkosi, owner of well-established security company. He is set to make his first debut on the 12th of February.
This exciting news was also shared by entertainment commentator and TV host Phil Mphela on X, formerly known as Twitter.
