If you were wondering what a 20-year-old member of parliament would be fighting for on the vast socio-economic challenges we have in the country, well the youth seems to have had it with expensive data, youth unemployment and the crime rate which leads to un safe communities.
The youngest member of the parliament Cleo Wilskut (20) was introduced by her party leader Patriotic Alliance’s Gayton McKenzie together with 22-year-old Jasmine Petersen as two of the nine members who will represent their party in parliament.
Taking time to share what the young MP’s will be fighting for in parliament on the current parliament term, Gayton took to his X, formerly known as Twitter to share:
“I asked the youngest parliamentarian what will be her things she would fight for, without blinking she told me. Youth unemployment, expensive data & safety for all.”
