With a victorious quarterfinal game played by Orlando Pirates against AmaZulu in the Nedbank Cup, the Pirates forward scored two goals in the final score, 4-2.
This led to the former Kaizer Chiefs sports star who is now iDiskiTV analyst Junior Khanye showering Patrick with praises during the end game analysis with football news medium iDiski Times.
Taking to X, (an ap formerly known as Twitter) they shared a post:

Junior said that the 26-year-old impressed him during the game, “He scored two goals, and whenever Pirates looked dangerous, he was there, and he does not even have speed. He is always dangerous when he gets the ball, he is able to change the game’s direction and his decision making is something else.”
The Buccaneer fans took this opportunity and agreed with Junior, “He’s playing South Africa football, and that’s the right thing to do.”
