Former Mamelodi Sundowns coach and soccer legend Pitso Mosimane was reportedly admitted to hospital in the United Arab Emirates where he currently coaches Al Wahda Football Club.
According to the football-focused publication iDiski Times, various Arabic media outlets reported that Pitso suffered from shortness of breath and became ill earlier this week. This led to the former soccer player being admitted to the Abu Dhabi hospital for treatment. During his hospitalisation, South African assistant coach Maahier Davids stepped in to train the Emirati team.
Well wishes for Pitso poured in on social media after his reported hospitalisation was made known.

Social media users can now take comfort in knowing that the soccer star was reportedly discharged from the hospital.
According to another football-focused media outlet, FARPost, they stated, “FARPost has been reliably informed that the former Mamelodi Sundowns coach has been discharged from hospital. He is expected to return to the dugout when his Al Wahda take on Ajman FC away from home on Saturday.”
