Most parents look forward to seeing their children grow up to become well-rounded adults and taking all the lessons learnt along the way to make a big impact in the world – and for Nick Feinberg, this is very much the same.
The prominent radio personality has been overwhelmed by emotion in the last two months, this comes as his youngest son, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has been doing an outstanding job carrying the weight of the nation on his back as he helped lead the Springboks to triumph during this year’s Rugby Championship.
Since making his international debut against Wales at the Twickenham rugby stadium in London, England, the 22-year-old Stormers player has impressed many with his calm spirit and ability to control the game even in the most pressured situations.
It was in his debut that he got the nod of approval from coach Rassie Erasmus after slotting a 50-meter penalty kick and has never looked back.
In the stands of that game was his father Nick who can be seen teary, given the historical significance of Sach’s debut. Nick, the son of anti-apartheid activist, Barry Feinberg was born in England after his father had to flee for opposing the laws of the country at the time.
Following his son’s debut Nick told news publication, SowetanLive, “I cried like a baby and someone next to me asked if I was alright. All the years of blood sweat and tears Sacha has been through to get to where he is, and my family problems in old SA and my dad dying, kind of crystallised into that moment as Sacha was on that pitch.”
Adorable moment Sacha Feinberg Mngomezulu ran into the stands to his proud dad Nick Feinberg during his debut Springboks game against Wales.

This weekend Sacha played his 7th international game at his home ground, the Cape Town Stadium where it was only fitting that he received his official Springbok capping in front of his close family and friends.
Present at the ceremony was Nick, who shared a picture of the previous moment on X (formerly Twitter), expressing how proud he was.

Nick appears to have been at nearly every game Sacha played at. Last week Sacha’s older brother, Nathan, best known for his appearances on the UK reality show, Too Hot to Handle, was at the Emirate Airline stadium to witness his younger brother slot a 60-meter kick against the might All Blacks at a sold-out stadium.
Also capped were other debutants such as Edwill van der Merwe, Jordan Hendrikse, Quan Horn, Morne van den Berg as well as Andre-Hugo Venter, son of veteran Springbok Andre Venter and boyfriend to Rassie’s daughter Nikki Erasmus.
