When it comes to getting in the ring with Cassper Nyovest, Prince Kaybee knows his price. The producer and DJ noted that R2.5 million will get him to throw hands with the rapper in a boxing match.
The two stars have been publicly at it for years, throwing insults at one another, reports TshisaLIVE, and fans would have liked to have seen Prince and Cassper settle their differences in the ring.
Cassper had even offered the DJ R500 000, which he turned down. While speaking to Ms Cosmo and Sipho Muchindu on the podcast The POPcast, Prince Kaybee said, “If there was a good number, I would get in the ring. It’s not a good number. Cassper’s team sent an email to my team saying something like R500 000. I’m not going to get in the ring for R500 000.”
Clearing up their “beef,” the Club Controller hitmaker said the following:
“I don’t take the beef between me and Cassper personally, it’s all jokes. I once met him at an airport, and I laughed the whole time, and he was serious. I don’t take it seriously. Even when we go to the ring, I’m not going to take it that seriously. But if we are going to do it, let’s do it the proper way. Give me what I want.
“For me to get out of my house, R2.5 million is fine.”
Regarding music, Prince Kaybee recently shared that he was in the studio and announced that on 6 July, he will be dropping a new song called Cathedral.
