Not too long ago the wife of Springboks captain Rachel Kolisi took to her Instagram to post about her husband’s surgery and asked her followers to keep them in prayers.
“Hey friends! Believing for a miracle. Would really appreciate if you could take a minute out your day to pray with us! I’ve seen God do it before and believe he will do it again,” she wrote.
“’Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing,’. James 1:2, 4 NLT,” she wrote, quoting a bible verse.
Earlier this year, Siya announced that he and his family will be relocating to Europe where he will be joining the French club, Racing 92, soon after the Rugby World Cup.
However, recently, the Springbok and Sharks rugby captain underwent a knee operation and is now patiently waiting to recover, East Coast Radio reported.
His wife, Rachel, thanked all his fans for the love and support shown towards Siya during this time while taking to her Instagram timeline.
“What. A. Week. By God’s beautiful grace, we made it! I can’t thank you all enough for every bit of love and support but above everything the prayers.”
She then gushed over her husband and wrote.
“ [I am] forever in awe of @siyakolisi and his ability to face challenges head-on, and with such a positive attitude.”
“Still believing for a miracle. Hope you all had an opportunity to rest, this weekend and, soak up those you love most,” she wrote.
