The hope of the Kolisi divorce being called off is slowly dwindling as Rachel and Siya appear to be getting comfortable with their new reality. Confiding in her social media, Rachel has given her followers a glimpse of her mindset regarding the situation.
October 2024 saw the breaking news of one of the least expected divorces, as Rachel and Kolisi quickly became the ultimate couple goals. The Springboks captain’s family man’s image and dedication to his family were the leading talking points among the public. The news of the divorce broke the hearts of many, sparking talks and hopes of reconciliation for the nation’s dearly loved couple.
The ambitions for a possible ‘love back’ appear almost non-existent as the couple continues to live without each other. It all became real when the couple spent the Christmas holiday separately, with the custody of the kids seemingly split to alternate between them. Rachel’s well-deserved solo vacation to Botswana added to the people’s hopelessness, as she shared that it was a time for plenty of reflection and healing.
