Redbull pledges its support for the Gauta BMX boys

Thanks to the immense support from social media users, the three Gauta BMX boys who have embarked on a cycling journey from Limpopo to Cape Town have bagged themselves a partnership with Red Bull.

South Africa’s feel-good story of the week has been characterised by a tale of true resilience and determination as Mzansi rallies behind a trio of boys from the Gauta BMX club as they embark on an ambitious and courageous cycling journey across the country from Brugersfort to Cape Town.

Social media users have kept close tabs on the young boys, with some going to the extent of meeting up with them along their journey. In the true spirit of ubuntu, some have provided support to the boys.
Some notable names, such as DJ Karri, who is also from Limpopo, have been heavily invested in this journey and have used their platform to generate as much attention and support for the trio. It appears that these efforts have paid off, and the young boys will reap the fruits. DJ Karri took to his social media to reveal that he had received confirmation that the popular energy drink brand Red Bull had committed to showing support to the boys.

The news seems fitting as the boys have previously revealed that the brand was their favourite drink to give them energy while on this mission.

Furthermore, the DJ announced that Jacaranda FM had also made a generous donation of about R20k and also revealed that there would be another surprise from a major company still to come.

As per the latest update, the boys have officially stepped into the Western Cape territory, bringing them closer to reaching their final destination, which is the Mother City.
