One of South Africa’s prominent sports brands, Reebok, is making its way to the Mother City to promise its people a good time.
Just like many of its competitors, the Reebok brand has had quite a significant impact on the hip hop culture. However, the famous sports brand is reclaiming its position “as they pay homage to hip hop” with their upcoming event, Back Like We Never Left, within the South African hip hop streets.
The sports and streetwear brand took to Instagram to announce their comeback stating, “Allow us to reintroduce ourselves 👑. We’ve been part of hip hop culture since the ’80s, and now We’re Back Like We Never Left.”
While mentioning that they would be taking back their crown within the iconic hip hop moments, the sports brand also mentioned the event would be taking place during the festive season: “This December, we’re reintroducing ourselves to SA and showcasing our contribution to the most iconic hip hop moments over the decades.”
Attendees were told to get amped up as the event promises “electrifying performances, game-changing collabs, and immersive workshops that pay homage to hip hop and our authentic place in the culture.”
