Valentine’s Day 2025 is on a mission to prove that it is not like those in previous years as it will see mzansi music legend Ringo Madlingozi making a long-awaited return to the stage in his highly anticipated ‘Valentines Experience’ concert set to take place in Carnival City.
Ringo Madlingozi rose to fame back in 1986 when his band Peto won the Shell Road to Fame competition, and he has been enjoying quite a fruitful career since. Since then, Ringo has become somewhat of a connoisseur when it comes to delivering a smooth, faultless romantic ballad, and has cemented himself into mzansi’s Music Hall of Fame and separated himself from comparison.
In honour of celebrating a day dedicated to lovers and romance, the veteran songwriter hitmaker is set to make 15 February 2025 an unforgettable day for those who will be at The Big Top Arena in Carnival City as he is set to host his carefully curated concert dedicated to all the lovers and fans of his love songs that have carried many South Africans through various experiences.

With songs such as Ndiyagodola, Kum nakum, Sondela and Nkqo Nkqo, Ringo boasts an extensive catalogue that makes for wholesome and unforgettable concert experiences that leave a lasting impression on all who have the honour of witnessing him firsthand. Furthermore, his unique ability to capture and command a crowd of any size will work to his advantage as he has become one of mzansi’s top performers. Adding the nostalgia his songs bring to his fans, this concert is set to be a highlight for the music industry this year.
As if the concert is not exciting enough, the king of mzansi ballads has also revealed that his album ‘IKHWELO’ is available for pre-adding, sealing off this Valentine’s month as one of the more unforgettable ones in recent history. As a certified hitmaker, it will be interesting which tracks will stand out for listeners.
