Robert Marawa congratulates Mama Joy for finding her Papa Joy

Sports journalist and commentator Robert Marawa showed sports superfan Joy Chauke, famously known as Mama Joy, nothing but love after she revealed the special someone in her life.

Mama Joy rose to prominence during the Rugby World Cup after it was alleged that the Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture was funding her trip to France using tax payers’ money. She received more heat after it was alleged that her hotel bill was thought to cost R10,000 per night.

Robert also spoke to Mama Joy on his 947 radio show Marawa Sports Worldwide to ask about the funds she received for her international trip, where she denied that businesswoman Shauwn Mkhize was sending her the money.

What there is no denying now is that Mama Joy has found her Papa Joy, as dubbed by social media users. The sports fanatic took to X (formerly Twitter) to show off her new, rumoured French boo and the gifts she received.

Robert also took to X to take the opportunity “to celebrate and congratulate the one and only @JoyChauke5 for her superfan finding her!!”

“May love win!!!” he added to the video of a delighted Mama Joy receiving a bracelet and kiss on the hand.

Robert’s post garnered plenty of positivity from X users.

One person wrote, “That’s so sweet. You can tell she was taken care of.”

While another commented, “Congratulation Mama. I wish you guys many years of happiness togethers, so happy for you.”
