The Miss South Africa live broadcast broke record ratings on the SABC channel S3 with media personality Bonang Matheba as its host. It has been 23 years since the pageant show last aired on the channel.
Nastasha Joubert was announced as the winner with Bryoni Govender as the runner-up.

According to entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, the live broadcast, executive produced by Relebogile Mabotja, started off with 641K viewers at 18:30. Then, by 21:00, the show jumped to more than 1.08 million viewers. The last time S3 brought in over a million viewers was for the Qatar 2022 Bafana Bafana v Ghana qualifier match in September 2021.
