US-born best-selling author, businesswoman and pastor Sarah Jakes Roberts was recently spotted sporting the distinctive MaXhosa brand by local designer Laduma.
Following her father pastor T.D Jakes’s footsteps, Sarah is on a mission this women’s month, to celebrate, elevate and appreciate the women in South Africa. She and her husband Toure Roberts are on tour, with Cape Town and Johannesburg on their itinerary.
In a joint post on Instagram, the couple announced that they will be touring Mzansi with a specific mission and message for the women in the country. “Today we officially kick off an exciting month of elevating, celebrating, appreciating and activating the women of the great nation of South Africa! Woman — You are the capstone of creation and God’s strategy for the family, community, the marketplace and beyond!” Toure captions.

After experiencing issues with her luggage being stuck in Cape Town while she had landed in Johannesburg for the next leg of the tour, the motivational speaker took to her Instagram to convey her gratitude to the MaXhosa brand for coming through for her with a dress when she had no options.
“I’m so humbled by God’s presence, it shows up in ways that refresh and restore me in ways I could not have imagined. That he would clothe me with righteousness and partner with me despite all my shortcomings will forever blow my mind… Thank you so much @maxhosa for bringing me this beautiful dress after my luggage was stuck in Cape Town.”

Attendees responded with compliments and congratulatory messages, some affirming Sarah of how powerful her sermon was and the impact it had on fellow attendees.
“You looked absolutely stunning sis. Thank you for the word on Friday I cried the whole time, I was a complete mess. You came all the way to South Africa to give me a word from Jesus. God bless you,” one user says.
