South African musician Nadia Nakai was one of the stars to watch at the African Music Awards (AFRIMMA) that took place in Dallas, USA this past weekend.
She was chosen as the host for the award show and did so in style, as she rocked three different designer dresses, each as fabulous as the other. She made sure her looks matched the grandeur of the event and she did not disappoint one bit.
Her first dress was designed by Uganda’s leading fashion house, Monix_k’outure. Her makeup was done by pro artist, Ashley O, while Nancy Glo came through with the styling. She rocked a purple sequined evening dress, with silver jewels to complement it, which she finished off with a pair of beautiful silver heels.

For Nadia’s second look, she was styled by legendary South African fashion designer, Gert Johan Coetzee, who put Nadia in a gorgeous orange sequined with a mesh finish around her legs.
This was also the dress she wore when she showed off her award for Best Female Southern Africa, while her late boyfriend AKA scooped the award for Best Male Southern Africa.
