Mzansi was stunned to learn that a viral video that was widely shared on the social media platform recently, involving three cars colliding on the highway was reportedly caused by Sekhukhune United FC midfielder, Shaune Mogaila.
This horror crash left a nine-year-old Gomolemo Mavimbela dead, while her mother and their neighbour’s son are fighting for their lives in hospital. Shaune initially fled the scene and later handed himself to the police on the same day.
In light of these unfortunate events, Sekhukhune United F.C. conveyed their condolences to the family of the minor who lost her life and wished a speedy recovery to those who have been injured in the accident. They further stated that the club cannot comment on the matter, as it is before the court.

The horror crash occurred in Thembisa, east of Johannesburg, on Wednesday morning. Just after Sekhukhune won a match that was played a night before against Richards Bay at Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.
Shaune is expected to appear in Thembisa Magistrate’s court today and is faced with culpable homicide, reckless and negligent driving, as well as a charge of fleeing the scene, according to SowetanLIVE.

I don’t know, I feel like you could have also done better as a club given that you had a match in Polokwane the night before the accident. Imagine, the next morning the player was in Gauteng allegedly high and drunk.. how?
