When it rains, it pours as the ghosts of the past come back to haunt rapper, Lehlogonolo Chauke popularly known as Shebeshxt during his hard times.
While the Wa Nnwela rapper is mourning the passing of his 9-year-old daughter, Onthatile Chuene, who was laid to rest last week Saturday in Limpopo, he has scheduled to appear at the Lebowakgomo Magistrate’s Court, Limpopo in July for a case that was opened against him in 2022.
Speaking to the entertainment publication, Sunday World, the Limpopo National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson, Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said, “The musician is currently out on bail and will be in court for trial. The matter is set down for plea and trial for 11 July 2024 at the Lebowakgomo Regional Court D,” Mashudu said.
The above-mentioned publication said Mashudu previously told them that a case was opened against Shebeshxt after he allegedly stabbed a man in Lebowakgomo.
According to Daily Sun, Shebeshxt, who is currently in hospital, attended the funeral in a wheelchair, with an oxygen tank and intravenous drip, surrounded by health workers and security personnel.
Tributes poured in for Onthatile on X (formerly Twitter).
Nsikelelo Mthiyane shared a video of the service on her X page.
