A few days ago, celebrity chef Lorna Maseko brought South African cuisine to America, serving a selected group of A-listers. Siba Mtongana has done the same recently when Black-ish actor Anthony Anderson dined at her SIBA restaurant in Cape Town.
Travelling from The Netherlands, Anthony took a trip to Cape Town to celebrate Juneteenth – a federal holiday in America that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
“This year celebrating Juneteenth in a special way. CAPETOWN SOUTH AFRICA!” he wrote on Instagram.

While in the Mother City, the actor, who hails from the city of Compton, California, made sure he visited Siba’s self-named restaurant.
The Eastern Cape-born celebrity chef took to Instagram to share a few snaps with the international celebrity.
She captioned her post, “For 100 marks, guess who dropped by at @siba_the_restaurant? ???????️????? ‘I’m just a kid from Compton’… ‘I’m just a kid from Mdantsane’ ???.”
