Siba’s journey in the culinary industry has been a heartwarming one to witness. As a child from Mdantsane, a small town in the Eastern Cape, she represents a significant portion of South Africa’s demographic which has often been disconnected from the world of fine dining and international cuisines. Although it is not her responsibility, Siba represents a bridging of two separate worlds, offering representation for those previously forgotten.
