Siya Kolisi, captain of the Springboks and his wife Rachel, recently met up with England’s captain Owen Farrell and his wife Georgie.
Sharing snaps on Instagram Siya said he looks forward to more of their meetups and captioned the post, “Looking forward to more of these.”
Owen is known by South Africans as he almost ended hopes for South Africa to play in the World Cup semi-final match between South Africa and England in Paris where South Africa managed to close out the match flawlessly securing a 16-15 victory over England.
It was reported late last year that Owen took a break from international rugby to focus on his well-being.
However, reports suggest that Farrell is set to make his return to international rugby as part of a World XV that will take on France in Bilbao in June.

Another social media user said, “Great photo @siyakolisi and @owenfaz Two world-class captains and great role models. Nice to see them happy with their partners.”
Saracens Rugby Club also commented on Siya’s post saying, “This will be the start of a fantastic friendship! Love seeing these two amazing international captains getting to know each other better together with their wives ahead of teaming up for @racing92 next season. Looking forward to seeing Faz and Siya in Paris – and both welcome at StoneX with Sarries in two seasons!”
