For a long time, it has been a trend to get your spouse to provide a voice-over for a make-up tutorial video that you have made. The Kolisi duo hopped onto that trend, and boy, was it funny.
On Rachel’s Instagram account, she posted a video of herself using products by Clarins.
The video starts with Siya greeting everyone and introducing Rachel as she puts on her foundation.
Siya is heard saying, “This is the foundation. This is the base of everything. Everything starts here, as you can see.”
He then says, “You need to take your time with the foundation. The stronger your foundation is, it sets you up for a very, very, very good make-up session.”
Once Rachel moves on to her eyebrows, Siya comments, “Straight into her eyebrows now. She’s brushing them up, getting them a bit darker. Darker shades of black, not grey.”
Confused by Rachel using the eyebrow pencil, Siya says, “I don’t know what she is doing with that pencil but she’s going in there. It must be pretty sore.”
Next, the couple’s daughter Keziah enters the frame. Siya then says, “She’s kissing her little daughter. She says, ‘One day, you’re gonna get here.'”
Also confused by the many products and brushes used when applying make-up, Siya hilariously comments, “Now she’s got four different whatever that is going under her eyebrow.” However, at this time, Rachel was applying a product on her eyelid and not her eyebrow.
“Oh this is the blush!” said an excited Siya after noticing that Rachel was now applying the “pink one.”
Siya is so confused by the entire process that he then says, “She’s looking to make those bone-cheeks, whatever you call them…”
After finishing the rest of her make-up, Siya concludes, “This is the end product ladies and gentlemen, after all the hard work. She is beautiful.”
