Our two time champion captain is not just a rugby player, dad goals and a power couple duo alongside SA rugby‘s first lady Rachel Kolisi but he also surprises us with dance moves every now and again.
We saw his dancing skills when a video of him teaching Rachel what we now know to be his favourite dance move surfce.
In the video he guides his wife, later advising her to loosen up and put some rhythm to her moves. “Relax, we not fighting,” are the words he tells Rachel who he affectionately refers to as Mariri.

Another video that has gone vital is the one where our Springbok players have been captured doing their victory moves.
Trevor Nyakane leads the video as he has his moment of joy and breaks into his victory dance like the champion that he is.
A few seconds later we see Siya pull off his famous move that we saw him teach Rachel a few years ago.
It was at that moment that the nation saw that this is not only our captains favourite move but it is also his victory dance. We may also stretch it and say it’s the only move he knows until we see him pull another move on the dance floor.

We also see a glimpse of someone we don’t see much celebratory moves from, South Africa’s proclaimed hero, Russie Erasmus. Social media users were never expecting Uncle Russie to pull off the move as well as he did.
But again, who are we to judge him. Success looks good on these champs nonetheless.
Social media users have spotted Siya’s popular victory move and are now making it challenge.
The rest of Mzansi will now join in as this is now what we consider as the nation’s victory dance. In a country filled with champions, you do as champions do.
