Siyacela Dlamuka, known for his appearance on the Moja Love reality show Isencane Lengane, has announced plans to transform the church into a tavern.
According to Daily Sun, Siyacela wants to turn the church into a tavern space following the death of his father Mthandeni Dlamuka, a respected bishop and polygamist who led the Corinthians Apostolic Church in Zion until his passing in 2022.
Sources close to the church, who wished to remain anonymous, have expressed their dismay over Siyacela’s decision. They describe him to the publication as authoritarian and have voiced concerns about the impact this transformation will have on the community and the church’s legacy.
“He acts like the elder in the family. He acts like the master, and he listens to no one. He told the family that he wanted to change the church into a business place. When we asked him the nature of business, he said a tavern. We were all shocked,” said the source to the publication.

Siyacela, who dropped out of school in Grade 9, has faced challenges, including aspirations of taking on a second wife. His recent decision to transform his late father’s church into a tavern further exemplifies his tendency to act on his own terms, regardless of public opinion or family expectations.
Adding to the controversy, Siyacela recently exchanged harsh words with Thando’s mother, resulting in a heated argument marked by strong insults.
