Kaya FM radio presenter Sizwe Dhlomo has officially issued a public apology to Lesedi FM’s Ba2cada.
Ba2cada, whose real name is Nyakallo Leine has been at the centre of social media attention over the last few days. This comes after he made an appearance on Mac G’s Podcast and Chill show on YouTube.
In the interview with Mac G, he touched on his earlier days of getting into the media industry and how much he earned at the time.
He shared that when his career began in 2004 he earned R1500 while working at Jozi FM. However, with a career spanning more than 20 years with numerous accolades having been won, his salary has increased drastically over the past two decades.
“I just wanted a platform to prove myself so that I could get onto the national radio station.”
Ba2cada shared that he now earns R180 000 per month working at Lesedi FM.

His salary disclosure meanwhile evoked mixed reactions from the social media community. Many praised the veteran presenter for persevering while others felt that one’s salary should be kept private.
Taking to X (previously known as Twitter), one user asked Sizwe Dhlomo’s opinion on the matter.
To this, he responded saying: “I don’t even know who that is bro…”
Shocked by his response, the presenter came under criticism for not knowing the veteran presenter as he has built quite a reputation for himself over the years.
However, Sizwe later apologised in a post writing: “Anyway, shout out to @cadamgaga(Ba2cada)! I didn’t mean to disrespect you bro. I am sure you’re a great guy.”
He later highlighted that they may have met briefly after Sizwe was booked by Ba2cada for a gig.
