Radio host Sizwe Dhlomo has once again taken to Twitter to share his thoughts about his industry mates. This time, it was none other than DJ Sbu.
It all started with a video of DJ Sbu explaining that he will only return to the SABC for the “right commercial deal” to “serve his country.”
He also stated, “I wouldn’t put money first. I’ll put my country first, but yes, financially or commercially, it has to make sense.”
“Even if it’s not too much money, for the right commercial deal, I’ll definitely go back to the SABC”?

One Twitter user responded to the tweet, saying, “Please clarify Dinangwe. Phela the SABC is fulfilling a public editorial mandate.” Sizwe replied, “Yes but you get paid to work there. It’s a job… You’re not serving anybody but yourself when you do a show there. Let’s just be honest.”

Siding with Sbu, one tweep said, “Sbuda can triple the listenership if he were [to] take your slot at Kaya fm. The best that has ever done it hands down.”
