Multi-award-winning musician Jabulani Hadebe aka Sjava has made it clear that becoming a blesser is definitely not something that he is cut out for.
In a recent video circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the 40-year-old recently appeared in an interview on the Johannesburg-based radio station Khaya FM.
While the rapper managed to acquire great success in his musical career of the last few years, he highlights that there is a certain standard that he has for himself, and despite building this great reputation, and cashing in on the work that he has put in at the studio – splashing money on women is not something he would ever do.
In the video interview, Sjava tells the radio presenter that he never has and never will just randomly give money to a woman.
Meanwhile, he has highlighted that the possibility of a female receiving money is not entirely impossible, but that come with its terms and conditions.
“Only when she is in need, or maybe there is a funeral at home and she needs to buy a cow.
“But for me just to easily give her some money, I cannot. I don’t do that, I have never done that and never will do it,” he explains.

Furthermore, it is not the first time Sjava turns down an opportunity with a female. Last month the rapper found himself at an outdoor street performance to which one woman started dancing within the circle, as she drew closer and twerked, Sjava immediately turned her down.
As the interview made its rounds, many fans shared their thoughts on the rapper choosing not to be a blesser.
“Danko. I swear Sjava is on the same frequency as me. I won’t do that, ngeke ndinik’ intombi imali.”
Another user added: “Sjava is the price, and he is the king he thinks he is kodwa mina engayikhipha la kumina.”
