Tweeps react to the news and questions whether this isn’t because K.O has betrayed Ma-E again:
Qiniso Mbatha @ Q_Master14 wrote: “Here we go again, where people gonna put this on KO. People need to understand that some artists will never POP, they will never be A-list. They can release 1000 songs a year but still. It’s just like that. Departing artists had their music on Radio rotation but still.”
Butholamabutho @Aquinasmylord: “I think #KO should hire a label manager since he’s also busy being an artist himself, this is wat happens when you try to multitask,no need to put artists on the bench thesedays, drop their music, it’s simple.”
Qiniso Mbatha added: “Perfect example, Young Money, Wayne had over 10 artists. They all dropped projects, but not all of them blew up. It’s not only on record label. The artist’s charisma and his own team need to put in work. MrX has features from AKA and Cassper but still. Not everyone is gonna BOOM.”
