Sophie Ndaba Lichaba has never shied away from sharing with friends and social media followers her journey on health issues such as diabetes, depression, and the recent eye cataract removal surgery.
The actress, who is still called Queen by her fans following her Generations character that she played for many years, took to her Instagram to share news of her successful eye cataract (when the eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy) removal surgery.
The former Generations star shared a video of herself in the hospital, with both the before and after surgery days included. She captioned the video:
“Dear God, I keep thinking you’ll eventually give up on me, but you are not man that you should lie. Your promises are yes and amen! Thank you for sending Angels in the operating room with me. Thank you for the hands of the nurse that prepped me! We did it Lord!!! ? second eye cataract out .lens in! I can see my children’s eyes and lips and smiles, we take so much for granted !!!! ? Oh, what a wonder you are.”
“Jeremiah 29:11-13 says you know the plans you have for me, to prosper me, I know lord if I seek you with all my heart I always find you? you show up n show off kanna! I’m a sinner not worthy of your grace and mercy, but you waiver and waiver, and you tell the devil ” touch not my annointed” ? . You are not man that you should lie. !!! Your promises are YES and AMEN. Lord, even when the devil tried to blind me , you served him notice! I can see again.”

The actress who is soon to celebrate her 50th birthday on the June 29 also hinted some kind of a celebration for her birthday adding on a hashtag;
“#50 years of Sophie Downloading , June? the Lord returned my years stolen!!!”
