‘Stevovo’ – Internet reacts to Linda Mtoba’s soon-to-be ex’s infidelity

After the actress Linda Mtoba opened up about dealing with heartbreak, many internet users have dubbed her estranged husband, Steven Meyer, Stevovo following cheating allegations.

As reported by ZiMoja last year in October, Linda and Steven – who were together for six years and share one child – were headed for divorce and the actress had allegedly moved on with an unnamed, wealthy businessman.

Now, amid her divorce battle, the former The River star has taken to X (formerly Twitter), sharing, “Dealing with heartbreak and loss all at once is a battle of healing and feeling.”

She then added, “Some days you wake up, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping. And then some days, most days, you battle to see the sun.”

Since Linda’s post, many social media users have fueled rumours that Steven had allegedly been unfaithful during their marriage, with many alleging that he is “known in the streets” at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

The allegations have also led to internet users referring to Steven as Stevovo, with many not surprised by his alleged infidelity.
