Former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has shown that time waits for no man, and took some time to secure himself a brand new job.
Last year, Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs issued a public statement confirming its decision to suspend their veteran player, Itumeleng. This comes after it was revealed that he arrived to training under the influence of alcohol. As a result, he was stripped from his captaincy and was ordered to attend certain programmes to help with the rehabilitation process.
“Once he has completed the required programmes and met the set expectations, he will be welcomed back into the team,” the team said in their statement.
More recently, the 36-year-old produced a Man of the Match performance for the Carling All Star team against Stellenbosch FC for the Carling Cup.
While there is still much uncertainty about when he will return to the pitch, Itumeleng has kept himself busy by investing in a part of the game that could produce promising benefits after retirement.

For his latest venture, Itumeleng is seen giving sports presenting a try. The star recently shared multiple pictures of himself looking well-groomed as he set to make his debut as a football analyst on the public broadcasting channel SABC Sport.
In one post, he is pictured with a number of iconic figures by the likes of Steve Komphela, Dr Khumalo as well as Andile Dlamini.
