Actor Thabiso Mokhethi opened up about drug addiction and how he struggled with depression.
According to Zimoja, the former Generations actor, has spoken candidly about his life as a drug user and how he was saved.
“I was once a drug addict and grace set me free from that. I was once lost in my own stresses until I was depressed, but the Lord set me from that,” he told the publication mentioned above.
Thabiso continues: “I was a person who didn’t live a life of truth and honesty and I was transformed into a nobleman,” he added.
The former Black Tax actor also claims that while he is aware of what it’s like to utilise drugs to aid in healing, these substances often “imprison us,” he says. The star has returned to church and believes that God alone can meet all of his needs.
In a recent Instagram post the actor encouraged his fans to continue praying as “prayer changes things” he says.
“Prayer changes things. When we pray we give God access to move on our behalf. There is great power in submitting to God in prayer. Have faith in the name of King Jesus Christ, Amen??❗️Call on Him and He will be there for you like no one else can.”
