South African actress Thembi Seete bagged an award at the African Choice Award ceremony which took place in the luxurious Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos on January 15th.
The award show was hosted by Eddie Watson and Ayanda Ncwane, the event brought together some of the biggest names in African entertainment, as well as industry leaders, fans and media from across the continent.
The actress could not attend the award ceremony in Nigeria due to unknown reasons but her award was sent to her in South Africa. She received her award and is beaming with pride as she celebrates being recognised at an international level.
She took to her Instagram timeline to rave about her award, while thanking her family and friends for their support and votes.
“My award has finally arrived from Nigeria @africachoiceawards. First, I thank God, my family, and @africachoiceawards for this recognition; I’m honored. This award means a lot to me Guys. Guys thank you so much for your support and for voting Enkosi,” she wrote.

South African model Refilwe Modiselle took to the actress’s comment section to congratulate her while admiring her beauty.

Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan commented saying: “Well deserved sis, looking good too. “Here for it.”
