South African comedian Tol Ass Mo whose real name is Mongezi Ngcobondwane Mahlangu released a statement where he apologised to black women.
The comedian who has not shied away from making remarks about black women, issued an apology acknowledging his past mistakes.
Tol Ass Mo went to various podcast channels where he expressed his disinterest in black women saying that he would never date a black woman again. He now claims that his remarks were fueled by the trauma he experienced after being falsely accused of rape by model Lerato Moloi.
These allegations caused his long-time marriage with Mo to crumble where they announced that they were getting a divorce but later got back together.
MDN News posted the apology statement on X (formerly Twitter) where the comedian acknowledged his wrong doings accounting that he needs to do better and work on his mental health.
