Toya Delazy encouraged to explore other ventures after her experimental ‘Afro Rave’ fails to connect with fans

Internet users have taken to social media to advise singer and producer Lethuxolo Buthelezi, famously known as Toya Delazy, to consider exploring other career avenues as her music continues to not have her desired effect on the audience.

Toya Delazy has garnered a controversial reputation throughout the year, due to her unique style as well as her taste in music. She continues to be misunderstood by her countrymen who have expressed concern regarding the singer’s mental health and wellbeing. Her grungy style and lack of fear to express herself openly have constantly been a talking point among these users.

Currently, a clip of Toya passionately performing one of her songs, which falls under her signature ‘Afro Rave’ sound which fuses techno, drum, bass, and beats with Zulu lyricism to produce a product that has big elements of spirituality, is making rounds on social media.

Similarly to the rest of her videos which have gone viral, this clip has garnered a negative reaction as users encourage her to potentially explore her options as far as her career is concerned, as her music does not seem to be taking off with local audiences. Furthermore, these users question Toya’s mental health, while some are convinced that the singer might be enduring some spiritual battles pertaining to her ancestors that need immediate battles.

Toya also caused quite a stir following the successful Chris Brown concert, after she raised her hand as next in line to fill up FNB Stadium. Internet users quickly shut Toya’s ambitions down, stating that she was being overly ambitious. Furthermore, they believe that Toya is often under the influence of illegal substances such as weed.
