After enjoying herself in Hollywood and rubbing shoulders with A-listers at the Grammys, award-winning digital content creator Kefilwe Mabote took the time on social media to address the allegations that she had faked her marriage for likes and views.
The accusations took flight after sources close to Kefilwe told ZiMoja that the influencer claimed that she was the third wife of an unnamed, wealthy businessman. The source alleged, “There was never a marriage, that entire thing was staged for content. The poor guy nearly lost one of his wives after she posted those pictures, the wife thought he secretly married her without her knowledge.”
Now deleted, Kefilwe, also known as Kefiboo, had even shared images of herself on Instagram last year in traditional attire, surrounded by family members at the celebration as well as a video of herself with a herd of cows.

Taking to her Instagram Stories and not fully addressing the allegations, Kefilwe shared, “Some people think that silence equals weakness. Seeing as social media trends are a thing these days, how about we unveil camera footage of you at my residence with your family and political cronies conducting meetings at my house? My inner circle is ready should anything happen to me. I declare my readiness to join you in the boxing ring if needs be! Speak, and let’s see who faces the consequences in this battle you have ignited. Tread carefully.”
In a separate post, the social media star suggested that she and the unnamed husband pack their bags to go to Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital.
Adding a picture to the Story, Kefilwe then asked the mystery man, “Do you remember this day when you invited me to your church and there were quite a number of witnesses when we were there? I still have many pictures taken on that day, and some congregation members even took pictures with me in that outfit.”
She continued, “Let me know if I should post our pictures together at social events showcasing us together, even on holidays with my family. Try me one more time … Remember, if you go low, I go lower. I do not mind sinking this ship with all of us in it. Titanic will have a whole new meaning by the time I am done with you.”
The posts have since expired. However, screenshots were posted on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by the publication MDN News.
