Comedian Trevor Noah has gained not one but three Emmy nominations. His supreme hosting skills at the 66th Grammy Awards got him an Outstanding Variety Special (Live) nod.

Recently Noah found himself the focus of some unwanted attention when the New York Post did a story on the comedian’s penchant for all things Microsoft.
His working relationship with the software company could be a conflict of interest.
This comes shortly after the Federal Trade Commission turned up the heat on influencers and celebrities who failed to disclose a monetary relationship with products they endorsed.
During his tenure as host of The Daily Show, Noah interviewed Microsoft executives, including CEO Satya Nadella and President Brad Smith in 2019. That same year, he interviewed Smith on his Spotify podcast What Now?, the New York Post reported.
They also noted that Noah had started working for Microsoft in 2016 in an “unspecified consulting” role.
His most recent gig for the company is hosting a YouTube show as Chief Questions Officer. Titled The Prompt, the show delves into AI, with Noah conversing with Microsoft employees.
Barb’s Wire host Barbara Friedman called it “odd” while chatting with Cape Talk’s Clarence Ford. “I just found it quite interesting that someone as successful as him, and I would imagine as wealthy as him, has decided to take a job with Microsoft to promote AI.”
