South African singer, composer Tyla Seethal popularly known as Tyla will be performing at the 2024 Coachella event in California. The 21-year old Water hitmaker who gained popularity from doing music covers will be at the event from the 12th until the 19th of April 2024.
Tyla’s journey started when she first released her debut single, “Getting Late,” with Kooldrink production, which earned millions of views.
She later secured a recording contract with Epic Records in May 2021. The song was then nominated for Music Video of the Year at the 28th South African Music Awards in 2022.
According to EyeWitness News- a local news publication – Tyla recently attended the Grammy Awards where she was nominated for Best African Music Performance. She just went a step further, winning RIAA Platinum certification for her international hit song Water.
Tyla will be performing along side other American artists such as Blur, Ice Spice, Sublime, Bleachers, Grimes, Jon Batiste, Orbital, Kevin Abstract, the Blessed Madonna, Oneohtrix Point Never, Bar Italia, Erika de Casier, Militarie Gun and others.
The musician who refers to her fan base as Tygers made the announcement on X(formerly Twitter).
