South Africans will soon have one more reason to celebrate local excellence as one of our own, Tyla Seethal will soon be gracing the stage at this year’s Coachella music festival.
Coachella is widely considered to be one of the biggest music festivals in the world. The event which celebrates various genres of music spans over two weekends and is held annually in Coachella Valley, a desert in the southern parts of California.
In an X post, the South African popstar opened up about how she has never been able to attend the spectacular event but manifested that if she were to go for the first time, it would be when she performs.

After speaking it into existence, her wish was finally granted she was recently announced as one of the artists who are set to take the stage. Other big names include Lady Gaga, Missy Elliot, Ed Sheeran, and Travis Scott.

This is not the first time that the 23-year-old was considered to perform at the event. Last year she was forced to withdraw after suffering an injury.
Since entering the global entertainment arena, the Johannesburg native has taken the world by storm, not only for her music but also for setting fashion trends and some of the most creative internet dance challenges.
This has recently seen her brushing shoulders with some of the world’s most influential people at this year’s Paris Fashion Week.
The 2025 Coachella music festival is set to take place from 11-20 April 2025.
