The eagerly anticipated homecoming tour of South Africa’s pop-piano princess Tyla Seethal was more than just a show, for others it brought a feeling of consolation.
From Cape Town to Pretoria, the pretty girl from Joburg just knew which notes to hit when she returned to her birth country this past December. While this was the perfect way for her to show her gratitude for the immense support she had received back home, her return was even more special to those closest to her – her family.
Following the success of her recent tour, the Grammy Award winner took some time off to unwind and enjoy the privilege of being back in her birth country.
In several social media posts, she was spotted in various parts of South Africa, with Cape Town being one of her most frequently visited locations. From Camps Bay beach to Khayalitsha’s groove lounge, Rands – the 22-year-old global superstar made sure that this would be a festive season to remember.

For her eldest sister, Whitney Jasmin, this may have been a moment short-lived as she recently took to X (formerly Twitter) reminiscing about the memories made.
In her post, she wrote: “Haven’t stopped crying since my sisters left SA had the best past 2 months with them back home.”
While her sisters, Tyla and Sydney, chose to entertain big crowds with their modeling and singing abilities, Whitney has decided to touch lives differently and is now a recognised clinical audiologist.
Despite this, she remains her younger sister’s biggest supporter.
