South Africa’s Grammy Award winner, Tyla Laura Seethal has just pulled a massive number of over six million views with her Jump music video which placed it second on YouTube’s trend list within nine days of its release.
While the song sits on over 77 million streams on Spotify coming in third behind Truth or Dare and Water. The music video was filmed in the streets of Johannesburg featuring fellow artists Gunna and Skillibeng.
As a way to show how far she has come in the music industry, in the video the Water singer jumps in front of a minibus plastered with her photographs all over it and does her signature twerk in traffic.
The music video directed by Nabil, embraces mzansi’s visuals with Tyla seen eating go-slows and having an apple munch refresher in different scenes of the video.
Coming from a successful album release coupled with international acclaim and being a household name, Tyla is dead set on representing South Africa everywhere she goes.
The Grammy Award winner took to her X (formerly Twitter) page to share a snippet of the music video upon its release date.

An X user commented on the video posted by Tyla and said: “I love how much you represent your hometown and country. South Africa must be so proud! Awesome video, loved the treat towards the end.”
Another one said: “Gunna is a real one, he touched down Johannesburg for the video.”
A few weeks ago, the US rapper and singer Gunna made headlines when he was spotted with Tyla at Soweto nightclub Konka while in the country to film the music video for Jump. He surprised fans by giving an exclusive performance of his most current hit song Fukumean.
